And the president’s lawyers may cross exam every rat witness. I’d love to Sen John Kennedy (R-La.) tear them a new one but I don’t even know if he’s a lawyer.

I think McConnell has done well. Didn't bow to Nanzi and stuck to the Clinton impeachment model. An immediate dismissal would delight me as being the absolutely most correct outcome. But politically would be a nightmare given the liberal media in an election year.

Hold a trial, no witnesses, vote for acquittal then move on. My humble opinion.
