A coalition of mostly left-wing groups Monday rejected a bipartisan call for the immediate nomination and confirmation of six new members of the Federal Election Commission. The FEC has only three active members on its six member board, rendering it unable to meet its four member quorum to enforce campaign finance laws.

Is the Reid rule still in effect?
It requires only Senate majority for confirmation? No filibuster on nominations?
Why not attribute the resistance to enforcing election laws to Russian interference? It must be the Russians that want no voter ID, dirty voter rolls and illegals registered to vote. After all, the democrats have a newfound respect for our founding fathers and our constitution.

Leftists don’t want a functioning FEC. That tells you everything you need to know about their designs.
Screw them and appoint only election law following members. Let them try to bitch to a judge. “Uh, yeah judge, we object to these people following the law and need more criminal involvement!” Either that and abolish the committee in its entirety and pass a law that any candidate found taking illegal foreign money through Any Means is immediately disqualified from the election and jailed for 5 years!
