Affirmative ...and Admiral Yamamoto’s death (Operation Vengeance) during the Solomon's campaign in WWII was just another page in the long history of Colonial/U.S. Forces at war.

Certainly the targeting of enemy flag officers at least dates back to the killing of Brigadier General Simon Fraser at the hands of a Revolutionary War sniper at Saratoga.

And if government goes out-of-control oppressive and tries to disarm the public, the first targets of our self defense should be THOSE WHO GIVE THE ORDERS.
