Pete Seeger did an album of protest songs against the US going to war against Germany (The publisher later recalled it and tried to buy copies back).
Pete's allegation was that the US was against Hitler because wealthy industrialists in America wanted more production in their factories.
The Democrats don’t always support America’s enemies. This depends on one variable.
Since Eisenhower (maybe before that, but I don’t know), whenever the president has been a Republican, the Democrats have supported any enemy of the United States, no matter how vile. (More precisely, they have opposed any attempt to oppose America’s enemies.)
When the president has been a Democrat, the Democrats have supported the president in his efforts to fight anyone, foreign or domestic. When a Democrat has been president, the Democrats would oppose Americans, whenever he did.
Whenever a Democrat has been president, the United States has been weakened in the international arena, by the startling ineptitude of the president. Whenever a Republican has been president, the United States has been weakened in the international arena, by the Democrats going over to the enemy.
