I thought the road to Damascus quip recounting Saul’s conversion was hilarious.

His safety, my concern, is relatively assured in Saudi Arabia. There is no way to guarantee his safety in Syria even if he traveling with a brigade of the 82nd.

“Why?”

Probably a lot of reasons. One may be that even Putin wants clicks. Others may be, Putin wants to be seen as a leader. There is no risk in making this suggestion and it may cause discussion that could potentially be uncomfortable for Trump. (Incidentally, I think Trump’s skin is thicker than elephant hide.) There is a long running stalemate which is costing Russia more than it can afford and Putin would like to calm things down. Also, and most importantly, Trump is prone to grand gestures and could possibly accept. This could be the start of an agreement that ends the conflict. And, lastly, it costs nothing to make the offer and could, potentially, add a positive dimension to the conflict.

When Trump met with the North Korean leader, it changed the dynamic of the “conflict” there. I think we haven’t seen the end of that beginning yet. Either Kim will lose power or he will bend to Trump’s will and NK will slowly enter the rest of the world. (No matter what, I don’t think Kim will last as long as his father did. Things have changed too much for that.)

“Do you have any idea what a monster this guy is?”

Syria’s Christians, who defends from Islamic terrorists, don’t agree with you.

“Syrian Christians Look To Assad Regime For Protection From Jihadis”

... Caught in the crossfire from Day One were Syria’s Christians, a minority Assad went to some lengths to protect. Dark interviewed a Christian community leader in Aleppo named Abu Fadi, and he was blunt about the situation his community faces: “There is no question at all about whom we support: the government, of course. It is the only force protecting us from the jihadists and extremists.”

Here’s one article of thousands concerning your best bud, Assad. Do you have a Hezbollah flag at your home? Why do you support the destruction of Israel?

Do you want to see Syria’s Christians slaughtered by jihadists? Do you hate Syria’s Christians for supporting Assad, who is defending them against the jihadis?

What is your problem with Syria’s Christians, anyway?

Do you think Syria’s Christians deserved to be genocided, because they support Assad against their persecutors?

So you do have a Hezbollah flag at home. I don’t support Assad and you do and I’m leaving it at that.

” I don’t support Assad and you do and I’m leaving it at that.”

You won’t answer the question - Syria’s Christians are defended by Assad. Do you want Syria’s Christians to be killed by the jihadis? You won’t answer, which is very telling, and I’ll leave it with that.
