Hmmm....if you live out in the country and have trees growing on your property, are you then allowed to heat your home (but with no more carbon than the trees are absorbing)?

So that’s about 2.5 tons of carbon per family per year (I’m not sure about other fuels)

I’ll have to get back to you on how many acres you would need.

Depending on the size of house about 10-20 acres. And that is selective cutting and for the life of your house.
