Fair enough. But Trump admits he did it to help grease the political skids of New York's building regulations. He wasn't necessarily a political animal. He didn't have a political agenda.

Newsmax did have a political agenda under Ruddy. I'm not sure what he had to gain by supporting Hillary. I'm not saying he is untrustworthy, I'm just suspicious. Just look at all the people who have stabbed President Trump in the back so far. We thought a lot of them were dyed-in-the-wool Conservatives or at least patriots.
