At the moment one can scroll down to a small time lapse image of the plume. Comparing that to a map of Luzon - yeah, not good...
Thanks for the link, Paul. There is talk that migration of a large magma chamber West of Taal towards the volcano proper has begun. That is the source of all those (mysterious, to me) mini earthquakes over the past few days. I had expected them to be centered around the eruption point instead of being offset to the west.
I hope that is not an indication that something bigger is on the move
