I would hate to see this thread descend into an argument, especially over what church is best. What we should be doing is encouraging each other. There are people who are on a spiritual journey and those who are not, or are on an evil journey. Whatever our free will chooses will be a definite journey, with highs and lows and turns. Once we make that choice God’s will for our lives is a goal worth pursuing and He will lead us. To me that is what is important.
Those who have 'repented' in it's fullest meaning, accepted Christ as their Savior and trying to follow Him are His body!
Just a couple of scriptures.
BSB Romans 12:4 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and not all members have the same function,
5 so in Christ we who are many are one body, and each member belongs to one another.
6 We have different gifts according to the grace given us. If ones gift is prophecy, let him use it in proportion to his faith;
ESV Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Seems we are all part of His body. Each has a function. Haven't found a church home as of yet but still looking. If the PERFECT CHURCH was found and I joined it would no longer be Perfect!!
jmho, His body is made up of Believers from many denominations. He demonstrated that several years ago.
God bless and 'keep on, keeping on'!! It will be worth it all, when we see Christ!!
Excellent point and thank you.
