Then the question becomes since Saudi Arabia is paying for them then can we bring them home? They bought their services, doesn't that mean they control what's done with them?

The main problem (which is discussed no where on this the thread) is the use of US troops as mercenary security for other nations. This is a perversion of the “peace through strength” mantra. It’s a Neo-Cons wet dream as it lends justification to send our citizens around the world and engage in conflicts in all corners of the planet. Trump needs to end this practice not exacerbate it.
