The Swiss handle what relations we have with the mullahs in Iran. At least we have no one there to be detained or harassed.
I guess Boris calls in the Iranian ambassador and lets some antiterrorism units interrogate him for a while.
Since he was arrested during the protests, maybe the protests will get better msm coverage now.

Picked him up to let him and the Brits know they could. Probably got little real intel from him but could have “detained” him long enough to copy his papers and embassy pass card.
The Iranians will use this to gain access to the embassy when they think the time is right...

There is a “depends” here. If detained becuuse they did not know he was a diplomat and held until he was proven to be a diplomat .... then that is an apology for the ignorance of the cops / guards.
If they KNEW he was a diplomat and was not questioned but rather interrogated .... that is whole nother ballgame.
