Ok, we got caught. And we should have known better, because we have sent people to prison for far far less that what we did. We will make sure that this never never happens again like it did this time. Well, until next time, when we get another group of corrupt ideologically partisan hack supervisors and gob smacked stupid FISC judges.

Something further needs to be looked at here. It's the matter of interviews and the 302s. Interviews need to be taped and transcribed in a timely manner and the copies provided to the lawyer of the person interviewed upon request. The 302s also need to be completed in a timely manner and made available to the person's lawyer. Lengthy delays for transcripts and written reports are simply unacceptable.

The threshold for prosecuting someone for "lying to the FBI" needs to be raised. It's one thing for someone to consciously materially lie, and another for someone to make an honest mistake.

If the FBI can lie to you, why can’t you lie back?

This is the essence of what is wrong with, and one of the major causes of the disconnect between the public and, our law enforcement entities.

Badge-wearers SHOULD be held to the highest standards. No more hiring the failed jock bullies to enforce the law. At least 2 years of constitutional law should be a minimum requirement for any law enforcement position.
