Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has raked in oodles of campaign cash, but the Democratic socialist darling has been a real penny-pincher when it comes to spreading the wealth to the House’s Democratic campaign committee — and that’s vexing her fellow Dems.
The far-left Bronx-Queens congressional freshman has not given a dime to the Democratic Congressional Committee, controlled by House leadership, her campaign spokesman Corbin Trent confirmed Friday.

“Sometimes the question comes: ‘Do you want to be in a majority or do you want to be in the minority?’ And do you want to be part of a team?” Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-Queens) told Fox News, which first reported about AOC’s boycott of the DCCC.
Another source was less gentle.
“Deadbeat Cortez should pay her bills,” groused a House Democratic aide to the network. “She’s always whining about people paying their fair share and here she is leaving her friends with the bill.”
Meanwhile, she’s using the campaign cash to bankroll primary challengers in a bid to oust more moderate House members.

She’s building her own faction. She’s sent plenty of money, but only to candidates left-wing enough for her.
She can take it but she can’t dish it out.
I can’t wait until the Democrat National Convention. The floor fights will be fun to watch.

I saw (but don’t really believe) the report where NYState may redraw districts to remove hers. NY is expected to lose a representative.
In any event, this attempt could not occur in time for 2020 House elections.
She said she has 20k left to pay on her bartender degree.
Just an observation from the DNCC, she has a big hill to climb.
I am of the opinion that NY State IS going to erase her district. She has angered a lot of democrats and she has definitely brought a lot of negative PR their way.
That would please me greatly!
