China previously probed NAS Key West in December 2019 when Lyuyou Liao was arrested and charged with taking photos of the bases Truman Annex. Liao continues to be held in custody awaiting his trial, as he was considered a flight risk given his presence in the United States was via a Chinese government funded scholarship.
In September 2019, Zhao Qianli, also a Chinese national student, probed the NAS. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one year in prison.
Chicks.

I think the perimeter includes the beachfront, so you can just walk around the chain link fence.
Chinese photographers have been caught before.
You’re asking us?

It having been determined by my benefactor that a term of service at sea would make a man, I accordingly left Pinckley Hall in the company of Captain Ned, and put out from Bristol aboard his ship The Raging Queen.”
We’re being probed. They ain’t Michigan Anglo tourists who are lost.
Nuke boats (subs) come & go in the vicinity. It is common knowledge down here to stay the *&#$% away from certain areas.
Facilitate a Chinese led Cuban attack on Florida? We owe China Trillions and the will get it somehow!
Easy target.
searching for pillow biters...

Bahamas, Cuba. Probing NAS Key West. Probably more than just nailing Papa Dobles at Sloppy Joe’s.
The photo is deceiving at best. The only dock-age similar to the photo is Fort Zachery Cruse Pier. The Sigsbee Annex is on the other side of the island. It is base housing and I doubt that is what they were interested in. From where they were the could see SFUWO School at the end of Fleming Key. But why not just rent a boat and you can get right up to it.
The main intelligent JIATF South is on the other side on Truman Annex. You can get close enough to hit it with a rock without trespassing. It doesn’t make sense.
Gitmo isnt that far away. Just put em on a transport and head 90 miles south.
Protected the airbase back in the 70s.
Weird.
