She did draw a paycheck from the CIA at one time. She used her desk jockey position there to engage in partisan politics and hurl stink bombs at the Bush Administration with zero consequences. She paved the way for even more blatant abuses of office under John Brennan.
You've got to admit that is a pretty good resume to run as a Democrat.
