Could have been a deliberate attempt to strike at the American economy by hurting Boeing, which has had its problems lately.
- OR - maybe one or some of the passengers were defecting out of Iran, taking secrets or cash or gold with them (someone suggested on FR yesterday).
- OR - maybe some other reason made it NOT an accident.
Sad for the victims and their loved ones, but the incident would seem to reflect karma for Iran, IMHO.
No, its just stupidity. Iran is just another 3rd world, Muslim ideological kleptocracy trying to manage the inherent chaos that is their government and country. They swing between arrogance and fear.
