I just read a story the system they had was on automatic-Russian Tor. No one actually pulled the trigger.
The fault was the civilian did not know to tell the military they were flying aircraft or more important the military forgot to inform the airport to stop all flights.
Someone is going to get hung from a crane
My thoughts as well. And the fact they did a “half-hearted attack” and notified Iraq beforehand.
My question is who the hell from the free world would ever go to Tehran?
Tragic.
Truth — the engine had suddenly experienced trouble and was on fire! Why can’t anyone believe that?
Of course, the missile explosion caused the trouble fire, but that is besides the point!
Contractors. Very well paid contractors.
Maybe they thought it was a B-52 with 6 engines out?
This is the part I don’t get. Tehran is getting ready to launch missiles at the great satan and is expecting us to hit them back (because PDJT isn’t obama). Yet they are sending commercial flights out into the middle of what could be an air war?
“Engine fire.” A lot of missles work like that. Explode in proximity to an aircraft and force it to fly through the debris. It doesn’t take much to get a jet engine to tear itself apart. Of, course, all of the other crap punching holes in the fuselage is helpful, too, but it seems that this one had a chance to turn around.
Very similar to that plane that was shot down over Ukraine a few years ago. Just what the heck is up with anything recently related to Ukraine turning into an absolute cluster?
Canada is supporting our ops in ME with their C 17s.
And who hops on to a plane leaving Tehran in the middle of an acute disagreement between Iran and the US?
“We may have made a boo-boo.”
(Insert tongue flapping thing) “Allah ak...oh, sh!tbar!”
LOL
“Did I do that?”
I heard 76 Canadians right after crash. My thought is why are there that many Canadians on flight to terrorist country. Maybe they were tech people going to work for Iran. How does that happen?
Look at the passenger manifest. All Middle Eastern names except for three. Perhaps not an accident at all.
Those who know aren’t talking—those who are talking don’t know.
That is why the 24/7 news channels are a total waste of time.
Iranians call U.S. conclusion not true The head of Iran's civil aviation authority has said the U.S. conclusion is simply not true, CBS News senior foreign correspondent Elizabeth Palmer reports from Tehran. A website affiliated with Iran's Revolutionary Guard called the U.S. intelligence a conspiracy cooked up by Iran's enemies, Palmer reports.
