Exactly! I have been saying all along this is all a show and nothing more. She has no intentions of ever sending the articles to the Senate.
1. She knows that a Senate Acquittal is a Fait Accompli and that by November the "impeachment" will be old news and forgotten.
2. She has this delusional idea that she can hold the Articles over Trump's head like some Sword of Damocles.
The only way these go to the Senate is if there is complete and total open revolt within the Dem Caucus.
I don’t think she will. I think she will keep it in her desk and wait for it all to blow away. A Senate acquittal would be the very worst outcome for her at this point.
I’m sure she will. Remember when some said the House Dems would never impeach? How did that prediction work? The Dems have gotten nothing but green lights from the GOP Senate to continue this nonsense. McConnell has done nothing but gum flap. He’s free to hold votes and amend rules whenever he wants.
