Because it was a “temporary” restraining order. From the article, it sounds like the government just asked for more time to review the proposal in regards to a treaty obligation.

“A commission spokeswoman told The Associated Press Wednesday that its engineers were still reviewing the study of Fisher’s company and offering feedback.”

So, maybe we shouldn’t jump to conclusions about the judge just yet.

Fair enough. Judicial overreach has become the norm but we will see.
