Addiction expert and reality show star Dr. Drew Pinsky is reportedly mulling a congressional run and is considering mounting a bid against his current congressman, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
Pinsky, who has been an outspoken commentator on homelessness and the opioid crisis, told The Hill that seeing the impeachment hearings on television increased his desire to get involved in the political process.
“I was watching all the impeachment proceedings and I was going, ‘Oh my God, our Congress is tied up and we’re dying out here in California. What are these people doing?’ ”

So, you are saying it is the Federal Governments job and the REST of American taxpayers to see that Californians are all safe and well.

The bum situation could be solved overnight if the laws that are on the books were enforced. The “homeless” problem has become an industry and voter issue conjured up by the corrupt politicians. The “homeless” problem is another communist tactic to break down society.
The problem won’t be solved until all the corrupt millions are divided up and a plan for the future corruption and other cities is ironed out. Homelessness is the new Global Warming and everyone needs to get rich.

Pinsky would be attacking Schiff from Schiff’s exposed left flank, believe it or not.
Pinsky is way more sane than most Liberals.
As is anyone who can admit the homeless problem is, mostly, a symptom of a mental health problem, not a “housing” or “inequality” problem.
It seems that all over the map of various problems in the country, the giant blind spot of the Dims is the role of mental health in many of them, and being blind to it they blame the wrong things. From mass murderers (blame the guns), to localized street violence (mostly major urban areas) (again, blame the guns), to homelessness (blame anything but the string of mental health issues involved), to transgenderism (blame society for being so unkind to people with an errant mental obsession), ect., ect., ect.
The ONLY think Dims seem to think IS a mental health issue is the opinions of those who oppose them. That leads to the conclusion that Dims cannot target the mental health of folks causing their own problems, because they instinctively know they’d have to target themselves.
