As an old sage, 90 % of problems people have are behaviorally based. I travel to CA a lot, and am frequently confronted with people asking for money. Rather than ignoring them, or just giving them money, I always ask, “what’s your story?” ... you be surprised how many will talk to you.

So it turns out they didn’t finish high school, or got busted for drugs and can’t get a job, etc; And I usually give ‘me a buck

Not helpful at all! If you feel like this it is your opinion, fine I guess but it would be better to keep it to yourself. The Libs do not care. They will not read this and none have the background to understand it.

The thing is that this is like Hillary calling all conservatives a basket of deplorables. It just banded us together. The non-understanding libs will see this as an attack and will be convinced they must be right. (after all any that had a religious background have all thrown it away
to make room for their progressive ideas.) These ideas do not seem to be based on anything bu feelings, which matter more to a lib than facts and historical events.
