Thank you for your comment and I think I understand the gist of it. We should accept the necessity of voting for Rino’s because they help confirm the judges. Right?

This is simply a restatement of the lesser-of-two-evils doctrine. You do not realize that your arguments are not persuasive. I suspect from your supercilious tone that you do not intend to persuade, but I am unable to guess your true motivation.

Of course you consider yourself capable of knowing my motivation. You seem to know that I want to “teach someone a lesson.” No I do not think that the Republican Party is capable of learning any lessons. Perhaps you are. That remains to be seen.

You also seem to know that I am “happier with a Democrat.” You betray an almost total ignorance of my views on the matter. You say that I want to “hurt” the Rinos, but I am only “hurting” my own family. This is truly absurd, but I only say that because I disagree with you and I only disagree with you because I do not really "care about the future of the country." Right?

You forgot to accuse me of wanting to maintain my conservative “purity.” Perhaps you can rectify that. In the meantime, I hope that you and others on the forum can learn that the number of never Rinos is already at a level to affect outcomes in Virginia and North Carolina which I know personally, and I assume in other states as well. You will understand that an insulting demeanor and straw man arguments will not turn the tide.

I do not insult you and I believe you to be a patriot, even if you do not afford me the same courtesy.

Wow. Way to take things personally.

BobL was IMO just taking the opportunity to remind all who may read the thread that every judge matters and that RINO usually vote with the Republicans on judges. BobL even included context that I was unaware of.

I thought that Garland and Zero’s last year were the first time that opposing President’s nominees were systematically blocked. The MSM would certainly have you believe that was the case and the Left acts like Mitch is the Devil because he held back bringing Leftist judges to the floor vote.

Imagine the light bulb effect of finding that”Reagan and Bush Jr...the last two years of their terms - very little movement on judges. For Bush Sr., that was his entire term.” With the second punch being that those slots were filled by the Democrat Presidents that followed them. The Left is even more hypocritical than I had realized and even more addicted to accusing others of what they had in fact done and done first.

Many freepers have espoused the premise that they are fed up with RINO and want to a. Not Vote, B Vote for a Democrat or 3rd party candidate, to teach the Republican party a lesson.

Viscerally I understand completely. Intellectually I realize those actions rebound back on America making it that much harder to get back to an even economic keel and a society that hews to the Constitution. That was BobL’s point as I understand it.

On FR we comment partially to the OP but also to the larger audience to express our thoughts on the issues raised by the OP. It is contra productive to think of a response as being an indictment or aimed personally when it is more often an attempt to express deeply held beliefs and respond to a commonly posted alternate view raised once again by a post.
