The answer is they get a superpower to pledge to use nucs to defend them
The only way Iran will give up its nuclear ambitions is If there is no longer Islam....and even then there will always be rogue and terrorist nation leaders wanting nuclear as a deterence as we are still and likely will be remaining in a nuclear age.
