I don’t think so. The whole witness thing was pretty much dead until Bolton shot his mouth off. He did it on purpose.
If they call him the rats get to call their little parade of
punks to shove knives into the POTUS. Bolton knows that too.
What first hand witnesses do they have? None. Have the Democrats interviewed Bolton?
If they haven’t, how do they know he would be helpful to them?
Let them put on their case if they dare and then the Senate can decide if calling witnesses would add anything relevant to the record.
Democrats seem to have buyers’ remorse about the whole thing. If they had a slam dunk case, they would have already transmitted their impeachment.
They know as things stand, President Trump will be acquitted.
