Elsie and Elmer, are they being recycled for steaks?
The two legends of the Texas State Fair, once sheltered in a stall right by the building which housed ‘Youngblood’s Fried Chicken’. In an area which featured a water wheel, the two were a happy couple for the decade of the 50’s. Time marches on. How sad is this?!
I remember the stall at the Texas State Fair.
I recall seeing Elsie and the calf Beauregard there.
