They always pray for America’s failure, and always side with America’s enemies.

Democrats fear that Americans will rally to the Donald and strengthen his political position. In the past, killing America’s enemies proved popular.

Iran would lose big in a tit for tat exchange with the US. Better now than when they have a nuke,

The Iranian military is not like our military. It does not have the deep bench and nor clear paths fir succession.

Soleimani was more like a feudal war lord who accumulated power, jealously guarded his position and eliminated any and all rivals. He intentionally made himself indispensable and impossible to be replaced by not delegating power or control

He was also a brilliant and capable leader which is rare in the region who kept much of his operation secret, even from the rest of Iranian leaders

More than a little of Irans terror network died with him and Iran will be hard pressed to replace him with anyone near his capabilities

<< It’s hard to tell if they, and every Democrat running for president (all of whom issued “It’s good he’s dead, but…” statements of their own) actually believe what they’re saying, or if they simply oppose the action because President Trump did it. >>

The latter. If Soleimani were instead taken out during a Dem admin they — the media, Dem pols, loudmouthed activists, etc. — would all be in celebration mode. Their reaction is a politically reflexive one, as it is to everything. No thinking necessary.

Rashida Tlaib warned about a “lawless President recklessly moves us closer to yet another unnecessary war that puts innocent lives at risk.” She expressed no concerns for the innocent lives Soleimani had taken over his career

Important point to never forget: to a Muslim, ONLY FELLOW MUSLIMS ARE "INNOCENT". Non Muslims are all guilty of rejecting Islam, by which we all merit death or enslavement. She was only concerned about Muslim deaths.

Not to me. It’s rather clear when you first note that they attacked Trump as impotent after our embassy attack last week, and then when Trump seems to do as they wanted (i.e., send a message), they then blame Trump for being reckless.

The country and the world has to get used to at least another year of non-stop attempts to undercut Trump. But, thankfully, that just gives Trump more opportunities to show everyone just who they are.

All the pearl-clutching over the idea that this could lead to war with Iran is ridiculous. Leftists like to pretend Iran is a serious military power, but outside their weak neighbors, they are not.

They said the same about Iraq in '02. We rolled through Iraq like it was a wet paper bag. And that was after we shipped our assets halfway around the world to do it.

That right there has to have the Iranian moolahz quaking in their slippers...

“If they oppose it because Trump did it, they’re worse people than we thought.”

Speak for yourself, Derek. If you PAID ANY ATTENTION to the Democrats during the past 50 years, this behavior would not surprise you one bit.

Why do you think we ended up with Trump in the first place? ANSWER: Because literally every other Republican leader believed that the Democrats were, overall, ‘good people’, and also wanted what was best for the country*.

Thank God for Trump, because people like Derek are FINALLY coming around to what many, perhaps most of us have known for these 50 years regarding Democrats.

*One of the things that NeverTrumpers and Democrats cannot get through their thick heads is there was NO ONE in Republican Party, even in the grass roots, who wanted Trump to run (there was no ‘draft-Trump’ movement, none). He was a tabloid material clown, and we didn’t need him. For many, probably most of us, we only moved to Trump after he said things we liked, and rather than affirming what he said, literally EVERY other Republican running attacked him and, more importantly, attacked his positions. At that point we knew the other ones running were pathetic and only pandering for votes...so Trump became our default candidate (and Thank God).

“In 1990, and again in 2003, we were inundated with stories of how strong the Iraqi military was”

Actually, this is a good point, that people don’t always remember, although I don’t think we were nearly as worried in 2003 about their military being able to take us on.

But in 1990, President Bush (senior) was literally with FEAR of the Iraqi military and scared to death that we’d lose huge numbers of people. It was only after Margaret Thatcher lent him some of her balls did he actually move on Iraq.

I think Iran will be similar in that regard, but the war will be much different, as we won’t be trying to occupy the country, just neutralize them as a threat.

Exactly!
The democrat party has chosen to align itself with *slam, which is at war with this country, with abortionists, and with marxists who would take our money from us.

Wonder what Soleimani’s view would have been if some of the worst Democrats were eradicated?

"But if Iran wants to fight elsewhere, if Iran wants to continue to kill Americans, they’re now on notice that there will be a price to pay for it. Not a price paid by anonymous soldiers or by the bombing of oil fields or barracks emptied after being warned that a missile is coming. The price is to be paid by those making the decisions – the sudden separation of their body parts from each other of the people who inflicted the same on innocent people. In other words: justice."

Nails it.

Yep, party of slavery and Jim Crow, party of anarchists, party of far left wing nuts that would make flat-earthers proud...I digress, could go on and on and on. But yeah, I would agree that there is a MULTITUDE of things fundamentally wrong with Democrats and the Democrat Party as a whole.
