Not sure what’s going to happen, but if the desire is to get out of Iraq, killing Soleimani might have been a means to that end. Trump gets to claim Iraq made the decision, not the US leaving on weakened terms.
That’s what I think.
He is doing the same thing by demanding that our “allies” pay more for our troops defending them.
Forget money deals. You killed the guy great. Now get every American civilian and military out if iraq.
