My reply is short.

Presikdent Trump is too smart to tell people who would send pallets of money and gold bars to the present rulers in Iran, who would immediately and treasonisly pass the info on to Iran’s rulers.

Bush 1 should have commanded that the entire column of retreating IRCG forces decimated in the desert and Tehran leveled.. It would have saved a lot of lives since then.

I think that the level of betrayal by the Democrat politicians is astounding.

They have betrayed the citizens of The United States so that they could receive bribe money.

They thought they could make a deal with hyenas.

The hyenas would make them rich and attack their political opponents.

But hyenas have no allies and they have no respect for people who want to be their allies.

Everyone should read this background article in order to understand the current situation in Iraq.

Obama’s fault.

And he is walking free, and not in prison.

Are you sure you have your history sorted out?

Bush1 didn't even go after Baghdad (which we could have conquered easily).

Where did you get the notion that we were ready to attack Iran in the Spring of 1991???

~~~~~~~~~
However, I agree with your basic premise. I felt we should have taken out the Iranian Mullah regime as soon as we got our 52 hostages back. Doing so early in Reagan's first term would have short-stopped much of the terrorism we've experienced since.
Who knows -- we may still have the opportunity to do so...
That is my hope, too.
We have the right President at the right time.
2020 may be the year that we stop all the nonsense with Mullahs, and the year that Isis is driven into oblivion.
History sorted out? It was a long time ago. I err occasionally .. But always trust others are better students than I and take my lumps.
It’s been 40 years and one would hope others remember that payback is a b*tech and long overdue. We must have had a couple spare tactical nukes to spare back then.
