Former CIA operations officer, Sam Faddis, warned that Hezbollah sleeper cells were hiding in the U.S. and potentially had targets in its sights.

I can see why this guy is a former operations officer with CIA. With insights like these....

IF you have to be with the CIA to know this, then we're in trouble.

That terrorist cells have not been blowing things up in this country since 9/11 still amazes me.

They're either that incompetent or we've been that good at stopping them.

The regimes that plot these kinds of actions don’t generally rule countries that are pleasant places to live in. The issue with sleeper cells is that many of them go native and just get on with life. Some probably just defect to a three letter agency so they can get new identities where their former employers can’t locate them.

And some probably joined as a means of emigrating and never intended to accomplish the mission with which they were tasked. You might say this is devious and unethical. Then again, probably less so than carrying out the terrorist attacks against random individuals.
