One error in the article is stating the Hellfire flies at 230 MPH. It’s actually Mach 1.3, or 995 MPH. Just a minor mistake... :-P

wow.....yeah, kinda of a difference. I’m surprised the ring on his finger survived. And to think he has to pretty much go through the same thing in the Judgement......even more hellfire.

That jumped right off the page, didn't it? At 230 mph and no wings, that thing would drop like a stone. At 230 mph, it would take a while to catch this guy...

AGM-114 Hellfire II Missile
"Hellfire is propelled by a single stage solid propellant Thiokol TX-657 solid-fuel rocket motor. The motor can generate 10 Gs of initial thrust. The missile has a maximum velocity of 950 mph."

Even the author at the "Army Technology" page doesn't understand units. Thrust is measured in lbf and acceleration is measured in Gs.
