This has been widely reported....based on a demonstrated truth

One need only look the problem in Iraq with the locals, all well armed. A decade on and we are still "at war." One can ignore history and truth only at their own peril.
I can hope (and pray) this stupidity is killed in the courts and not on the streets.... .
