They have hand helds that are by far the easiest to operate and they are economical. You can buy them single, 2 pack, 4 pack and I think they have a six pack offer.
The good news is 30% of Virginians own a gun.

A more relevant statistic would be the percentage of combat capable Virginians who own firearms. We can assume that most females and all children under age six or seven do not own guns.

Au contraire! The Federal government liberals, socialists, progressives, and communists who, along with the foreigners from Central and Latin America, and Mexico comprise the majority of voting residents of northern Virginia and the Norfolk and Hampton Roads areas of the State. Add to them the African American residents throughout the state and voila, you have a formerly red State that’s now as blue as a Yankee uniform!
AND DO NOT come back to me that this requires a license unless you want to be deemed an idiot. When the shit hits the fan, the license is the least of your worry.
I'm a ham, and agree. It would be advisable to stock up on some cheap disposable 3-5 mile walkie talkies as well. Short, coded transmissions are hard to identify and locate. Any long term broadcasts will be quickly pinned down.
First, it is time to make a showing. It’s time to remind these pampered dictators who is boss. Everyone must participate in this protest, even tho your state isn’t mentioned in the 2A UPROAR.
Make calls, support those who do stand up! Get to the protests if possible, but at least get in touch with your officials in support of the 2A. Numbers matter. Here are some links.

I’ve read there are already discussions underway at the UN regarding the deployment of the blue helmets to counter any resistance to government’s confiscation of firearms in America.

That is probably true, but in any case, armed resistance/response would be suicidal if the military was ordered to use all necessary force to put down any armed resistance. And don’t make the mistake of thinking the military and the civilian police will refuse to do it, because they all undergo intensive indoctrination regarding the mandatory nature of the orders of their superiors. On the other hand, I think that if tens of millions of unarmed patriots took over the streets of D.C. and other major cities and refused to budge until any and all government violations of our Constitutional rights were ended, that would rather quickly force the tyrants to rescind unconstitutional demands for gun confiscation.

A significant variable is the extent to which LEO’s are willing to take on significant risk.
These days, a common attitude among these officers is to go after low risk targets. That is, many of them choose to avoid known crack dealers and gang locations in favor of writing speeding tickets.
This attitude seems to be a product of the current age, which probably includes a change in recruitment philosophy in recent decades.
In short, any onset of CWII will likely see a massive collapse of the fighting spirit and morale among enforcement units.
And we will have plenty of Patriots on the inside of these police and sheriff’s departments. I know this is true here on the east coast, I would assume even more so in the heartland.
Just shut down I-95 for a few days and it will all come to a head.
Remember when the Indians in Canada took over the interstate highway bridge on their reservation. It get’s results.

There will be no reasoning with Northam since the price for Northam to stay in the governor’s mansion was to push the left agenda AND donate money to their individual races. The clamoring from the left stopped, the money flowed, and Governor Moloch hasn’t resigned. Straight up quid pro quo. There will be no reasoning because he sold his soul to keep his current job and to cash in on the consultant gigs in the future.
A Virginia civil war woukd soon get enmeshed with all the other things Dems have been trying the last 15 years to enslave us and conquer us, impeachment, etc. it would not stop at the VA border, and China would also get involved, if not openly, certainly behind the scenes. So it would not stay an in-state civil war for very long at all.
