“I was disappointed to hear yesterday that Leader McConnell declared that he would be not be an impartial juror when it comes to the serious charges against President Trump,” Chuck Schumer said in a recent Senate speech. “He said it proudly. What kind of example does that set to the country that is looking for fairness and impartiality?”
But in 1999, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer went on Larry King Live and said the exact opposite of everything he is saying now. Schumer defended the right of every Senator to have a “pre-opinion” and explained that the Senate is “not a jury box” because the Senate is “susceptible to the whims of politics” and Senators can be “called and lobbied” by citizens.

That was then and this is now. Jerrold Nadler shepherding through a partisan impeachment showed us who is casting doubt on the legitimacy of our political institutions.
Thats his legacy to our country. What a difference twenty years makes.

whose past comments on then-President Bill Clinton's trial have come back to haunt them -- and in some cases undercut their message today. Democrats = Hypocrisy. But it is indeed nice when their own words can be thrown right back at them as they look totally foolish.

Where are all the Democrat Media "fact-checkers" now?
That's why I wipe my posterior with any word written or spoken by a Media "fact-checker".

They simply ignore what they said before, which is no longer 'operative'. And the media doesn't cram it down their throats the way they do to a conservative who's caught in a similar situation. Notice that the Media "fact-checkers" have all disappeared on this issue?
Because the Media "fact-checkers" are Democrats...

Both parties are hypocrites in this regard on almost all issues. The “deeply held” talking points switch depending on context. For example, impeachment and supreme court confirmations. Trump’s next appointment (may it happen in 2020) will show both parties completely flipping their “deeply held” convictions from the Merrick Garland appointment by Obama.
The difference is, the media repeats D talking points as if they were serious and largely ignores R talking points and the media will endlessly point out the R hypocrisy and largely ignore the D hypocrisy.

I honestly cant understand how anyone can vote for them.
Voting for them is an indirect way to stick it to whites, white men and Christians.

There'd be wall-to-wall 24-hour "fact-checking" on the Republicans if the shoe was on the other foot.
Note the huge chorus of Media "crickets" about the 40 currently sitting House Democrats who voted all four "Nays" for Rapin Bill Clinton's impeachment...
