Police have arrested a 38-year-old black man from Orange Country, NY, for stabbing five Jews in the home of a Hasidic rabbi in Monsey on the seventh night of Hanukkah. If youre a New Yorker or a Jew or both, youre asking why. Why has yet another African-American attacked Jews? Why has black-on-Jewish assault become a continuous feature of life in and around New York? Why now?
The answer: Because the country is seized by the politics of victimhood, and theres nothing that self-pitying victims find easier than blaming Jews for their misery.
The names given to the bogeymen of todays populism are all historical code words for Jews. On the populist right, this means the elite, the globalists and the media. On the populist left, its Wall Street, the wealthy and the 1 percent. If that isnt enough, the left has also decided that Jews a minority who make up 2.2 percent of the American population are hyper-white and, in Marxist terms, actually part of the power structure that keeps minorities down.

I stopped reading right there.
Why?
(Honest question)
There is some truth in the statement, in my humble opinion.

“He doesn’t like me because he’s an asshole”
Right wing populism has facilitated Jew hatred?
WTF is he talking about?
His version of “right wing populists” tends to despise Trump and Trump voters. He probably calls the “right wing” because of their ethnicity.
Stabbing Jews is one victimhood activity.
The other is "Pay-Me-I'm-a-Victim" lawsuits.
Maybe I'm missing something but I haven't really seen any "Jew-hatred" from the right. We have a President who kept the promise made by the three previous Presidents to move(recognize) the capitol of Israel to Jerusalem.
Is he just making stuff up to make both sides seem equally culpable?

Because what little truth there might be in the statement is being used to suppress legitimate criticism of the elite, globalists and the media.
The fact that some people may have used those as part of antisemitism in no way delegitimizes attacks on the elite, globalists and the media.
The author is attacking the politics of victimhood and then engaging in it himself, Jews have a tendency to engage in vicitmhood politics beyond any real basis for it and to deny the victimization of anyone else and this is an example of it.
