Iran wanted the money for bad purposes. They demanded cash and Pussyobama gave it to them willingly.
One thing that never gets mentioned is that a lot of that money Iran received was from when their assets were frozen during sanctions. It still doesn’t make what Jug-ears did acceptable, but let’s be full-disclosure when this gets brought up.
