They are just doubling down, because there is no alternative for them.
They are just doubling down because there is no reason not to. The Dems have the green light from the GOP Senate to gaslight the false narrative at their leisure.
Well, that is true too in the short term for them. (This article was specifically from a media standpoint by CNN...they are the ones doubling down, IMO)
But make no mistake-there are larger numbers of people than ever before who view what the media is putting out with a more doubtful eye. Not enough, but more.
