There was a time not long ago when teachers were expected to be of spotless moral character.

My daughter is a teacher and she is VERY cognizant of this. She has basically gotten off of social media out of an abundance of caution that nothing she posts ever be misconstrued in damaging ways. I recall she was upset that somebody else who happened to have her same name was posting racy stuff and she did not want her superiors thinking it was her.

Thanks for your story...I think your daughter made the right decision.

This Bakersfield teacher had to walk away from the job which paid her $80,000 per year...She only has to teach for 10 months...I wish I had a job which paid me $80,000 a year.
