The USA accepted 30,000 refugees in FY2019. Trump has reduced that number to 18,000 in FY2020.

In Obama's last year, we accepted 80,000.

Since 1980, we have accepted 3.7 million refugees and asylum seekers.

The first year cost is significant - almost $50,000 per refugee in 2020 - and, many of these folks will be on some form of welfare for decades, or forever.

Unfortunately, Trump's reduction of refugees has been largely off set by a HUGE increase in the number of people seeking - and receiving - asylum.

We had 46,000 grants of asylum last year, and there is a back log of hundreds of thousands of cases still waiting to be litigated.

According to the Center for Immigration Studies:

“State and local governments must now consent to receiving refugees before they are placed in their communities.”

This is fantastic!
The Federal Government consults with State and local governments not only to identify the best environments for refugees, but also to be respectful of those communities that may not be able to accommodate refugee resettlement. State and local governments are best positioned to know the resources and capacities they may or may not have available to devote to sustainable resettlement, which maximizes the likelihood refugees placed in the area will become self-sufficient and free from long-term dependence on public assistance. Some States and localities, however, have viewed existing consultation as insufficient, and there is a need for closer coordination and a more clearly defined role for State and local governments in the refugee resettlement process. My Administration seeks to enhance these consultations.
What a novel idea! FedGov LISTENING to the STATES that make up the Republic. President Trump continues to win for all Americans.

Recall O’bastard was pipelining refugees for YEARS under cover of darkness to many conservative communities throughout the U.S.

translation: Blue big city mayors like the doofus in Minneapolis will get their wish and receive all of the refugees their little hearts desire.

This will turn their cities into cesspools and cause a revolt amongst voters in surrounding suburbs.

They are NOT refugees.

They are migrant welfare, hard core socialists.

That's the population of Los Angeles, CA or more than the entire state of Connecticut. That's 2 Senators. Those 30,000 could make up the whole population of a county. The 18,000 is a decent sized city every year. Easy way to change politics. That's not counting the illegals who merrily skip across the border every hour on the hour. FYI, watch the cases of flu and other diseases skyrocket in the next couple weeks when they all get back from Christmas in the home country.
