Yup. Six of one, half dozen of the other. If it’s heavily monitored in a deescalated dosage down-to-nothing framework it might have some value. But you could do the same weaning-off with the original drug, pot.

Decades ago, my brother (teenaged at the time) was arrested asking an undercover cop for a light, for a joint that was so weak that if you smoked the whole thing as hard as you could, holding in the smoke of every hit with all your might, you’d probably get dizzy from holding your breath so much.
He was given probation and a HUGE bottle of Thorazine. I took one of those Thorazine. It knocked me on my ass for a solid day and left me with red-soaked blood-shot eyes.
I don’t know much about Xanax but I heard it’s pretty bad.
