Buttigieg: No Jail Time for Possession of Any Drug — Including Meth, Cocaine

There is a problem of practicing without a license, distributing dangerous drugs and no one is a pharmacist or doctor. These drugs as in the title are not regulated. Making these drugs legal? Allowing addicts to take dangerous drugs not regulated?

No where in the article I read had anything to do with Cannabis

The seller of the legal drug alcohol is not generally held liable when someone fatally overdoses on the drug they sold. Do you think they should be?

These are not legal drugs. Am I missing something? How would Buttigieg regulate illegals drugs via the government? Who distributes? I'm not even discussing cannabis but according to Federal guidelines it's still a schedule one drug.

This sounds like a nightmare and a politician looking for votes from drug addicts and dealers.

Thank you for your answer however I don't see how this politician can promise what is already a nightmare in this country. How would he legalize such drugs?

I’m always perplexed about legalization of drugs. Does that mean street dealers playing doctor and pharmacists would have state licenses for distribution?

No, it means that, as in the several states that have legalized marijuana, store owners would be licensed and regulated - and would (absent excessive taxation) take many customers away from street dealers.

These drugs as in the title are not regulated.

You asked about legalization, which Buttboy's plan is not. Under his plan, dealing would remain illegal and unregulated, and so only criminals would deal, just as they do now; such ideas are usually referred to as "decriminalization."

Does this mean all are innocent when people die of drug abuse from addicts getting drugs by these people/

No - Buttboy would change only the laws relating to personal-use possession (which, again, is different from legalization).
