Agree. It would seem, however, with the measurable benefit to the demographic as a result of Trump policies, that the number should be north of 50%.

It's important to note, that the overall numbers are less important as to where.

Huge swings in black voter %, means little in a low black area or state.

Trump understood that the election wasn't one race, but 50 separate ones.

Trump needs to see huge swings of black voters in blue or purple states.

That assumes that these voters are rational, and, by definition, those who vote for socialism are irrational. However, a good, hard push by Trump may break through that demographic barrier. Marketing is everything when it comes to reaching low-information voters. Imagine 25% of democrat voters flipping and going GOP in 2020!
