No he is right, the situation is completely understood, it is the question of whether anyone will truly get off their butts and do anything about it. 90% of those who say they will are going to duck and wait for someone else to do it because they have more important selfish priorities. So it won’t get done...
There wont be a revolution, until there is. They tend to start with one inflammatory event, and snowball from there. The fact that we have acted with great restraint, so far, only legitimizes our future action.
PS: there has already been resistance in NY where most peole have redused to register semi-autos and magazines. What will spark any revolution is the governments response to non-compliance. The first act of rebellion is to ignore your rulers.
Why didnt Gov. Soul Man get booted out of office for his racism? Oh yea, DemonicRats dont have to live by the same standards.
A lot didn’t vote for them and we don’t need to give up constitutional rights because dems won an election.
“Blah, blah, blah. Get back to me when some thing effective actually happens to stop the gun grabbers.”
LOL, you really are blind! You believe over 100 Counties in VA declaring themselves 2nd Amendment sanctuaries and publicly vowing to defy their Governor and resist what they consider to be an unconstitutional law is “nothing”?
I showed you a list of what led up to the Revolutionary war and either you lack any ability for comprehension of the written word or you just don’t get it.
Yes and yes.
Succession. Let Fairfax, Arlington, Falls Church and Loudoun become Blue State - call it East California. Move the POS governor to his new Capitol of Fairfax and let us be.
Taken from the end of the article...It is truly amazing how so many think that the Bill of Rights are 10 simplistic things that the government gives us that they can just as easily take away.
Obviously, that is what they’ve learned from the Leftist take over of our education system that started in the 60s, if not sooner.
None of us can predict what is going to happen in Virginia. Could be bad, could be an absolute disaster, or who knows? So much of our news can’t be trusted.
Northam says that he has no intention of calling up the NG.
Northam is also increasing the budget for his prisons.
As if Virginia Gov. Ralph Northams wholesale attack on law-abiding gun owners wasnt enough, the disgraced public official and his Michael Bloomberg-bought allies in the General Assembly now want the states hard-working taxpayers to foot the bill for their unconstitutional schemes. The budget bill (HB30) includes an appropriation of a quarter million dollars to carry out a host of gun control measures that Northam and his anti-gun allies hope to enact.
The $250,000 is appropriated to the Corrections Special Reserve Fund in order to provide for the increase in the operating cost of adult correctional facilities resulting from the enactment of Northams gun control measures.
Strange and, potentially, dangerous times ahead for the US. And think, it isn’t even November 2020, where we will see things only thought to happen in the 3rd world.
BRILLANT!
and Merry Christmas
Thousands showing up at courthouses and 90 or more localities declaring themselves as 2A sanctuaries. Basicly saying they aren’t going to enforce any gun grabbing laws along with Sheriff’s saying they will not enforce the law is nothing ? The dems already know they can’t enforce any gun law now.
And I have provided a past list of events leading up to our Revolutionary War. The lead up to the war began with protests just like what is happening in VA.
FYI many, MANY of the settlers were against the idea of a war with England but as we now know it is not necessarily the amount of men in the fight but the amount of fight in the men which will determine who is victorious.
They had heart, purpose, and courage in those days. They were not lazy or afraid of physical labor. Now days we have remote controls and will not part from these addictive conveniences... The important priorities in life...
>>That is civil disobedience, not a revolution.<<
.
The Boston Tea Party was an act of civil disobedience. To where did that event lead?
So true. But, you are referencing a time in history when people were used to fighting for their freedoms. That is not the case today. Besides, it's not going to be an instant gun grab by the authorities. It will start with things like sending you a letter stating that they know you have XXX guns and if you don't turn them in, you won't be able to get your drivers license renewed, buy insurance, or borrow money. So, what will you do then? Are you going to start walking and paying cash, or are you going to turn in those guns? My bet is that about 75 percent of the gun owners will comply. Then, they will start offering rewards for people to rat out their neighbors for owning these evil guns. Now, once they've whittled down the gun owners to a manageable number with measures like these, then they can realistically go door to door after them. And, then, it will be a piece of cake once a handful of resistors are legally killed for putting up a fight.
Yes, you better hope that if it's going to be a violent revolution, that it happens fast while there are still guns in the hands of the people. Because if the government has it's way, it will be a slow and steady process until one day you wake up and your grand kids ask you what a gun used to look like.
I agree. Your description of an incrementally approach is how it will go down. After all, seatbelts were never going to be mandatory either.
Before anything you describe happens there will be a long drawn out court battle and there is no doubt in my mind anyway that it reaches the USSC.
There is also the possibility and a very strong one that the voters in VA after seeing what their vote has brought them in 2018 revolt at the voting booth and throw those responsible for these laws right the hell out. And you only need to look back to 2010 to see the possibility of that.
A Muslim Rat legislator has submitted a bill to allow the State to override local zoning and allow high density housing in single family neighborhoods.
WATCH HIS OTHER HAND! What other bills is he trying to get past while you are distracted fighting for 2nd Amendment rights!
Wouldn't it be preferable to have two guaranteed liberal senators from the state of North Virginia and two guaranteed conservative senators from the state of South Virginia? That way there would be a net of 0 Virginia lib senators, rather than a net of the +2 that we are now experiencing.
