Back in 2000, I had a contract there for three weeks. Got into a punch-up with a crazy guy in Times Square on my first night in the city. After that, most everyone I met was great. They were nice, cordial, and helpful. Even ran into some great cops who helped me out when I got myself turned around in Chinatown. Loud? YEAH! Expletive addicts? Sure as s**t! But I sure wouldn’t call ‘em rude. What’d the Dems do to the place?!
But don’t get me started on San Franscico. Just... no.
The snottiest people I ever met were lefties in Marin County and West LA.
New Yorkers run the full spectrum from great to awful.
