Born and raised in Queens NYC. I’ve also lived in Florida, Long Island, Upstate NY and now Pennsylvania.
New Yorkers are the friendliest, most generous.
Pennsylvanians are mostly rude, grumpy, and unfriendly.
There, I said it.
Do you live in Eastern Pennsylvania?
That's the truth! From our corporate office in Michigan, I had to deal with the ex-employees and retirees from our closed stamping plant in Philadelphia. Literally every single person I had the displeasure of speaking with all had a pissed off attitude, even if they were trying to sound friendly. When I answered the call line, I could tell immediately they were from Philadelphia........
And to show I'm not biased, when my counterpart from the Philadelphia plant came up to our corporate office, I took him out on the town. After I got him REALLY drunk, that was the only time he lightened up and started laughing and joking.......I still can't figure out how he got back to his hotel..........LOL!
Agreed. When I was trucking the lower 48 I found people from PA to be the nastiest and coldest. NY and NJ are the most agressive.
“Welcome to Philadelphia, by the way, you suck!”
NYC is full of rude, unhappy malcontents who think they’re the center of the universe.
Nobody likes rude angry people.
