Can we send those 180,000 home? Think about it, over 75% of American Samoans have migrated to the US. Who’s left? People too stupid to move or those that kicked everyone else out?

Come on! They’re good people. I just wish they wouldn’t eat so much. History-wise I’m sue they were slim like every one else at one time.

All wrong my fr-iend. 180,000 Samoans are in the U.S. Mainland to prevent tipping the island into the sea. If they all run to one side, it’s a sure disaster. It’s for their own good.

It also sounds like the tribal policies of American Samoa asked for this special provision to prevent land sales to non-Samoans. If they want to keep that restriction, then they would need to get tribal recognition akin to an Indian Reservation.

Don’t mess with free will. Something tells me 2/3 of Samoa lives here for perfectly reasonable and honorable reasons. It’s how supply and demand works. Why force politics into the fray?
