“Resettling in America in 1974, he started a new life based on a different kind of turn-on—meditation—and his own synthesis of Buddhist, Hindu, Advaita, and Sufi teachings, and later, Jewish mysticism.

The key words here are “his own.” This is not of God. It is against God and thus is of God’s enemy, Satan. Mr. Alpert and his fellow-travelers promoted psychedelic drug use and paganism to an entire generation while denying and denigrating the one true God. It does no one any good to deny this or try to water it down.

You're right.

From another article about Ram Dass: "Ram Dass himself admitted that hundreds of LSD trips, pilgrimages to India, periods of celebrity, and thousands of sexual liaisons had left him, at the end of life, depressed and searching. "

It sounds like he was misled by the Deceiver--- and had a big hand in misleading thousands of others.

Satan is cruel.
