According to my anthropology textbook from my college years back in the early 1970s, people of Middle-Eastern descent are White or should we say Caucasian.
Like many aspects of modern liberal thinking, people from the middle east are now considered non-white, or as they say “brown” unless they are rich, or conservative. In that case they are “white”.
