Poll I found dated Nov 8 shows Sessions up by 13% over Jones. The other top republican is former Auburn head football coach is trailing Sessions. We vote March 3d to see who goes against Jones. Maybe a runoff after that. I think one has to get 51% for no runoff.

Partner, we all think that Sessions did a poor job as the Atty. General for President Trump.

He did not do any favors at all.

Sessions was dining with all the culprits and even Rosenstein it came out in the news. This guy is a loser.

Sessions is just one incompetent guy who can not be trusted or maybe he is part of the Swamp culture.

Sessions should have never recused himself and he has to answer so many questions on why he did not even attempt to get rid of some of the rotten apples in the FBI. He did not attempt to get the culprits who approved the FISA paperwork.

You are so correct in saying that Sessions is out of the running period because of his very poor performance as the A.G. for President Trump.

Probably, President Trump went with that guy Rinse Preibus recommendation and Rinse was so wrong with Sessions and other folks.

It’s very simple if Jones’s internals indicate he has a chance to be re-elected he will vote to acquit because he knows if he votes against Trump he’s as dead as Vince Foster. The merits mean nothing.

Translation......my research is showing that most of the state of Alabama is willing to burn DC to the ground over this sham, so I’ll take the cowards way out and vote with the Rs. I’ve already talked to leadership and advised that if they want, even a remote chance to hold onto this seat, I’ll have to vote with the Rs.

Jones will lose no matter what he does on impeachment UNLESS Roy Moore is the republican candidate again. I will never ever vote for Moore. I held my nose and voted for him last time. Not happening again. The thought of that moron in front of a microphone making a fool of himself in front of the whole country is a non starter. Don’t know if I’d vote for Jones or just skip senator.
