I get the feeling that what they are cooking up is a way to rhetorically thread the needle to claim that the Democrats are not legally biased and that the Senate Republicans are biased. The thing is though, this is exactly the behavior that lost the Democrats the House the last time. The woman is pathologically incapable of not overreaching.
