Congress doesn’t mind the president doing their job for them when its to their advantage.

Why even bother coming up with budgets when you just push ‘emergency spending bills’ that basically make it the president’s responsibility to sign?

This country needs a hard freaking reset.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the vast majority of citizens really don’t want to cut spending.

Oh, sure they cry that they want less spending and smaller government, except when it comes time to cut their pet programs.

President Trump on Friday signed two spending packages totaling $1.4 trillion, averting a government shutdown at midnight.

How in God's name can it cost the U.S. taxpayers $1.4 trillion just to avert a "government shutdown"? That's 1,400 "billion dollar bills". With a single "one billion dollar bill" equalling 1,000 "one million dollar bills". If there were such denominations. The enormity of this allocation is totally off the charts insanity.
